Hello

My name is Jody. I'm founder of Bubble Babies Spa & Massage.

I'm a qualified Rehabilitation Officer (Visual Impairments) with many years experience working with young people with visual impairments and multiple disabilities. I'm also mommy to two beautiful boys, ages 5 and 2. Becoming mommy to them put me on the scary path of wanting to start my own business!

I found great happiness during my maternity leave but, like many other new moms, I also at times experienced feelings of loneliness and was diagnosed with post-natal depression. To try to help other moms that might be feeling the same way I founded a popular Facebook group, Black Country Moms. I wanted to give moms in my local area a peer support group to make them feel welcomed and supported. Also, having read about how baby massage as a way of bonding with your newborn can help alleviate PND, I decided to learn baby massage so that I could help other moms and care-givers on their parenting journey—and so Bubble Babies was born!
